Do I need a doctor's prescription to receive treatment?
No. On January 1st 2014 physical therapists in the state of California are able to evaluate and treat a patient without a medical doctor’s prescription for 12 treatment sessions or 45 days whichever comes first. If you are already under the care of a physician, we are happy to communicate with them if and when directed by you.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We will verify your insurance coverage prior to your first visit and inform you of your physical therapy benefits and possible financial responsibility.

Payment
Payment for all deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurances are due prior to each treatment unless agreed upon prior to treatment. We do bill your insurance company for each treatment, although, you are financially responsible for any portion not covered by your insurance. Detailed insurance coverage will be provided to you prior to attending your first treatment.

We are located on the South West corner of San Vicente Blvd and Crescent Heights. There are two similar office buildings. We are located in the building on the right farthest from Crescent Height.

Where do I park?
There is parking in the building, although, we do not validate. There is parking around the building and in the neighboring area, but please make sure to read the signs due to parking restrictions.

What time do I arrive to my appointment?
For the initil evaluation, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out your paperwork. If you have downloaded the paperwork and filled it out prior to attending your appointment, then please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to your appointment. For each follow up appointment, please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow for traffic and parking.

How long does each appointment last?
Each treatment time may vary, but most treatment sessions are approximately 60 minutes. Treatment time varies based on patient’s time restrictions, arriving to scheduled appointment on time, and treatment plan of the therapist.

What do I wear to my appointments?
You should wear comfortable clothing that has access to the body part injured. Please bring athletic shoes. We do have private treatment rooms to change clothing before and after treatment. We do not have a shower.
